Yes, you have two options if you want to remove your CV:
Hide my CV
You can hide your CV so you can still apply for jobs, but recruiters will not be able to search for your CV in the database.
Delete my CV-Library account
You can also delete your CV-Library account. This will remove your CV, and you will no longer be able to apply for jobs.
Follow this step-by-step guide to delete your account:
1. Log in to your CV-Library account using the exact email address and password you registered with.
2. Click ‘My Settings’, this can be found under your name:

3. Scroll toward the bottom of the ‘My Settings’ page to find the option ‘Delete My CV-Library Account’.

4. Select ‘More’ and read the drop-down information to ensure you understand what will be actioned.
5. If you are sure you wish to continue, select the option ‘Delete My Account’. You also have the option to add a reason and comment.
Alternatively, click the link below, log in to your account if you have not already, and then enter your password again to confirm deletion.

Please note: When you delete your account, your profile is permanently removed and cannot be reinstated. Please allow up to 24 hours for our systems to update.
Log in to your CV-Library account and go to Job Alerts. You will be able to create the Job Alert from this page. Please specify your search criteria and save your alert. If you want to make any changes to your Job Alert, you would do so from this page.
We will then send you an email each day if there are any jobs that match your criteria.
If you have our App, run the search you want to save as a Job Alert and tap the white bell.

You can deactivate or delete your Job Alerts at any time. Deactivated alerts can be reactivated later, but deleted alerts are permanently removed.
Follow the steps below to deactivate or delete any Job Alerts you no longer need:
1. Log in to your CV-Library account using the exact email address and password you registered with.
2. Click ‘Job Alerts’ in the bar at the top of your screen.

3. Scroll down to ‘Your Current Job Alerts’
4. The toggle next to each Job Alert shows its status. Green means the alert is active, and grey means it is turned off. To turn off an alert, select the toggle so it turns grey.
5. Alternatively, select ‘Delete’ to completely remove your Job Alert.

Alternatively, you can use this link to go directly to your Job Alerts, where you can edit or delete existing alerts or create new ones.
CV-Library is a UK-based job board and only accepts registrations from candidates who have a UK address. Access to CV-Library is also restricted to users located within the UK.
Please note candidates with a temporary UK address can also register their CV, as long as you have a UK working visa.
If your email address is already registered with CV-Library then you will need to request a new password and log in to your profile.
You may have registered via one of our other job sites or registered a long time ago and forgotten.

From the homepage you can complete the quick search. Simply fill in the job details you are looking for: keywords, industry and location. If you want to supply more details click advanced job search, and enter your desired contract type and salary.
Alternatively, you can log in to your candidate profile and search for jobs from there. You will then be able to save job vacancies and apply for them later.
We recommend setting up job alerts as well as job searching. You can then be emailed job matches, and also choose to get push notifications or Twitter direct messages.
Yes, as long as you are logged in to your candidate profile you can save jobs and view them at a later date. To view saved jobs Login to your candidate profile and then click the heart icon in the site header.

We endeavour to only allow database access to recruiters genuinely looking for candidates.
Registered candidates can apply directly to all jobs listed on the CV-Library site.
If you are a registered candidate your CV will already be uploaded, so all you need to do is click 'Apply Now' at the bottom of the advert.
Use the 'Apply Now' button to make an application. Please do not phone CV-Library to make an application as we do not accept applications over the phone.
Not at this time. In order to apply to a job you will need a CV-Library account with a CV.
Log in to your candidate profile and go to 'Applications'.
You may find that the job post has expired and the application you made does not show to you right away. In order to show expired applications, please ensure you untick the box that reads 'Hide Expired Applications' in the top right hand corner of the page.
Once you have applied to a job you will receive an automatic email from CV-Library confirming that you have made an application.
If you haven't received any email confirmations or you are unsure that your application was received, please contact the recruiter directly to check they have received your application and re-apply if necessary.

To make changes to your CV, you will need to upload a new version. Once you have updated your CV, upload the new document to your account here.
When you're logged into your account, hover over your name in the top right-hand corner of the screen and select 'My Settings' from the drop-down menu. You'll see the option to change your password at the top of the page.

Log in to your CV-Library account and go to Account Settings. Scroll down to 'Manage email preferences', where you can choose which emails you’d like to receive or unsubscribe from all emails entirely.
Alternatively, follow these steps to stop receiving emails from CV-Library:
- Log in to your CV-Library account using the exact email address and password you registered with.
- Hover over ‘My Account’ in the top right and select ‘Settings’.
- Scroll down to ‘Manage email preferences’ and update your email preferences here.
