Cover Supervisor

over Teacher Required Full-Time (Part-Time Considered) – Start ASAP

The role is to start asap covering lessons in a secondary school, working as a Cover Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the classroom and ensuring lessons are delivered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups
• Managing behaviour in line with school policy
• Supporting pupils with their learning and encouraging participation
• Reporting back to the regular class teacher at the end of the day
• Keeping a positive, professional presence in the classroom

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working in schools with QTS
• Confidence managing a classroom independently
• A flexible and adaptable approach to the school day
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
• Two references that can comment on your work with children/young people
