Ks2 Teacher

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Shard End is looking to appoint an experienced KS2 Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is also confident leading English and Literacy across the school.

The school is looking for somebody with strong curriculum knowledge, excellent classroom practice and the ability to inspire both pupils and colleagues. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving standards within English, supporting teaching and learning across the school and helping to raise attainment.

The Role:

• Full-time KS2 Teacher position
• English/Literacy Lead responsibility
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Leading and developing English across the school
• Supporting staff with curriculum development and best practice
• Monitoring pupil progress and helping drive attainment
• Working closely with SLT and wider staff team

The School Is Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent KS2 teaching experience
• Previous experience leading English or a core subject
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Passion for literacy and raising standards
• A proactive and collaborative approach
• Commitment to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment
